THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has set November 27, 2025, for the commencement of defence in the case where PF member Chishimba Kambwili is charged with unlawful assembly. Earlier this month, Lusaka Magistrate Kawana Mwamfuli placed Kambwili on his defence after she ruled that the prosecution had established a prima facie case against him. In this matter, Kambwili was jointly charged with Charles Kakula and was facing one count of unlawful assembly and riot, while the latter was also facing an additional charge of expressing or showing hatred, ridicule, or contempt for persons because of race.
