Matero Local Court Magistrate Lewis Mumba has ordered a 50-year-old woman to immediately return a child she got from her ex-daughter-in-law under false pretences. In this case, 26-year-old Agness Sempe sued Frazer Namisukuma for taking her seven-year-old child and refusing to disclose the child’s location for several weeks. Sempe, who resides in Mansa, testified that when she got pregnant, her baby daddy did not pay the money he was charged for damage and he had not bothered to get to know his child.
