UPND spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa says the 50 percent reduction in the inflation rate since his party took office indicates progress. In an interview, Friday, Mweetwa argued that had the PF continued being in office, the cost of living would have been double what was currently obtaining. “In August last year, inflation was at 24.8 percent meaning that is the rate at which prices [were rising].
