FORMER labour minister Fackson Shamenda says the UPND government is only doing what citizens elected them to do and he therefore doesn’t find it correct to praise people for doing what they are paid for. Commenting on the recent Diggers editorial titled “He’s made a great impact in 1 year, but let’s not over-glorify HH”, Monday, Shamenda said it was government’s duty to improve citizens’ livelihoods.
