PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema says it is unacceptable that the country can have a shortage of food today amid improved technological and irrigation capabilities. And Turkish Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmet Yıldız says agriculture is key to ensuring food security and the development of local communities. Speaking when he met the Turkish delegation, Tuesday, President Hichilema said Zambia had agronomic conditions which allowed it to produce food for itself and contribute to global food requirements. “We do as a country appreciate the relationship that exists between our two countries.
