THE Socialist Party says the Zambia Police have communicated that they will not be able to interview their party leader, Dr Fred M’membe, today and will advise on a later date. Socialist Party National Youth Chairman Kelvin Kaunda says he suspects the police have backed down because a number of people and opposition members were prepared to offer solidarity to the opposition leader, and it would have been stressful for the police to manage the crowd.
