ZAMMSA on Monday failed to justify to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) why it awarded Ace Pharmaceuticals and Aqueous Investments the contract to procure 156 ambulances worth K336,173,760 through a limited bidding method. And the Committee heard that the suppliers have requested a contract extension and that the ambulances will only be delivered by the end of February 2025.
