A 32-YEAR-OLD man of Choma has been arrested by police for defiling his 8-year-old step-daughter, after his 3-year-old child alerted a neighbour. Meanwhile, a 14-year-old girl has been retrieved from her brief, unsanctioned marriage to her 18-year-old boyfriend in Itezhi-Tezhi. According to Southern Province Police Commissioner Auxensio Daka, Choma Police received a report from 28-year-old Mutinta Milambo, who complained that her daughter was sexually abused by Devious Mweetwa of Kamunza residential area, who is also the victim’s stepfather.
