THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has sentenced a 55-year-old farmer of Chikumbi area in Chibombo for assaulting a colleague who refused to buy him beer. In this matter, Christopher Mafuleka was jointly charged with his son, Clinton, 24, with the offence of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. However, Clinton admitted the charge before Lusaka Magistrate Keegan Litia and was sentenced to 18 months simple imprisonment. It was alleged that Mafuleka and Clinton, on July 2, 2024, in Lusaka, jointly and whilst acting together did assault Robby Mtonga thereby occasioning him actual bodily harm.
