AFTER years of learning in a dilapidated mud-and-pole structure, pupils at Mutalaeti Primary School in Lumbo Ward of Mongu are set to benefit from improved learning conditions following the near completion of a new 1×3 classroom block. The project, which is being funded through the 2025 Constituency Development Fund (CDF), is now 98 percent complete and has also delivered over 90 desks to improve seating arrangements for learners. The CDF project is part of government’s initiatives to close infrastructure gaps in rural schools across the country. Once completed and officially handed over, the new infrastructure is expected to benefit more than 400 pupils from Early Childhood Education to Grade 7, who are currently learning in a dilapidated 1×2 classroom block...
