THE National Olympic Committee of Zambia has welcomed the appointment of six Zambians to various Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa Commissions (ANOCA) for the 2025-2028 period, a development that highlights Zambia’s growing influence within the African olympic movement. The appointments were announced by ANOCA president Mustapha Berraf, who stated that the newly constituted Commissions will serve as advisory and technical bodies to the ANOCA Executive Committee. Berraf noted that the Commissions will play a critical role in supporting National Olympic Committees across the continent to successfully implement ANOCA programmes and initiatives.
