THE Food Reserve Agency says it will be buying soya beans this marketing season at K6 per kilogram once it puts its resources in order. Last month, the agency revealed that it did not intend to buy soya beans during this year’s crop marketing season because it was sitting on 100,000 metric tonnes of the commodity. The announcement was, however, not received well by most stakeholders who asked the FRA to revisit its decision.
