THE Lusaka High Court has struck off from the active cause list a matter in which a Lusaka resident was seeking K1 million compensation from Hungry Lion Limited for allegedly subjecting her to eating food which had maggots. High Court judge Mwila Kombe has, however, given Bertha Bwale 30 days within which to apply for the restoration of the case, failure to which it shall be dismissed for want of prosecution. In this matter, Bwale sued Hungry Lion Limited, seeking an order that the firm awards her general damages, damages for mental anguish, stress, inconvenience, costs and any other relief the court might deem fit.
