A POLICE officer under the Paramilitary Battalion has narrated to Lusaka High Court how he woke up at UTH with a terrible headache and bandages on his face, only to be told that he was shot by a colleague during a drinking spree. Mubiana Wamunyima, 24, told the court that Pumulo Mulife, also a police officer under Paramilitary Battalion, shot at him after he refused to buy him more beer. In this matter, Mulife is alleged to have maliciously wounded Wamunyima with intent to maim, disfigure, disable, or kill.
