A DETECTIVE has told the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court that a 30-year-old man accused of stealing 16 computers from the University of Zambia (UNZA) told him that he only intended to use the gadgets for a project and not keep them for good. In this matter, Henric Chisenga is charged with one count of breaking into a building and committing a felony therein, Contrary to Section 303(a) of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia. Particulars of the offense are that Chisenga, on August 18, 2023, in Lusaka, did break and enter into a building and did steal therein 16 sets of computers with their accessories altogether valued at K68,075, property of the University of Zambia.
