PEP leader Sean Tembo has failed to take plea before the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court in a matter in which he is charged with the use of insulting language against President Hakainde Hichilema. In this matter, Tembo is facing two counts of using insulting language contrary to Section 179 of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia. In count one, Tembo is alleged to have used insulting language directed at President Hakainde Hichilema on August 27, 2023, in Lusaka. Tembo is alleged to have said, “Bally apa akangiwa kuipa.
