THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has dismissed an application by defence lawyers representing former ZNS director of operations Colonel Maliwa Muwanei and six others to hold part of the cross-examination of an ACC investigations officer in camera. This was after one of the lawyers told the court that the defence needed to refer Ferguson Kombe, the witness on the stand, to some confidential documents. In this case, former Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) Chief Executive Officer Mateyo Kaluba and six others are facing 41 charges of abuse of authority and attempting to export Mukula.
