THE National Olympic Committee (NOC) has urged athletes still in the race of qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games to remain resolute and steady fast. Featherweight boxer Patrick Chinyemba was the first Zambian athlete to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games after a knockout win against Aladine Zidi of Tunisia during the 2023 Africa Boxing Championships held in Dakar, Senegal. At the weekend, Commonwealth and African 400m champion Muzala Samukonga qualified for the games after clocking 44.85 seconds during the All-Comers Meet held in Ndola at the Levy Mwanawasa stadium.
