Thieves have broken into Kansuswa SDA Church in Mufulira and stolen some items used during Holy Communion.

And the thieves also defecated on the linen used by the Church during holy Communion.

Kansuswa SDA Church Administration Elder Richard Kampampa confirmed this in an interview, Wednesday, saying some items, like holy communion cups, were retrieved from the bush where they were dumped.

“The thieves broke the grill door and gained entry into the church before breaking the trunk which contains the holy communion things,” said Kampampa.

Kapmpa valued the stolen items at K260,000.

He said the matter had been reported to the police.
