PF CADRE Maxwell Chongu has pleaded not guilty in a matter in which he is charged with unlawful wounding.
When the matter came up for plea before magistrate Thandose Chabala, Wednesday, Chongu ,40, pleaded denied committing the offence of unlawful wounding.
In this matter, it is alleged that Chongu, a businessman on 4th March, 2017 in Lusaka unlawfully did wound Richard Sinonge Nyambe, 37, by inflicting a deep cut on his left ankle.
Chongu is being represented Francis Daka from Makebi Zulu Advocates.
The matter has since been adjourned to 22nd February, 2022 for mention and 18th March for continuation of trial.
