THE Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency (ZAMMSA) says it has procured a number of medical products to meet the public health sector needs. In a statement, ZAMMSA Director General Billy Mweetwa said the Agency had purchased sufficient Anti-hypertensive, Anti- Asthma, Skin Protection Lotion for Albinos and many other essential drugs. “ZAMMSA is working vigorously to ensure that all health care facilities and hospitals, across the country, are effectively equipped with adequate medicines and medical supplies hence, no Zambian should be worried about the alleged drug shortages.
