ZAMBIA Association of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians (ZAGO) president Swebby Macha says abortions should not be criminalised in the country. On Sunday, Police in Lusaka arrested and charged a 20-year-old Evelyn Hone College student for abortion. The student was found in a weak state by her fellow students in her room after they discovered a foetus and blood clots in the female students’ bathroom.
