THE Copperbelt University has with immediate effect lifted the expulsion of ex-COBUSU leader Castro Mulilo from the institution. Mulilo, a fourth-year Transport and Logistics student was recently expelled from the university for having announced the cancellation of classes in June this year after the death of two students who were hit by a speeding vehicle. In a statement, Thursday, Copperbelt University Acting Vice Chancellor Professor Paul Chisale said the institution had lifted the expulsion after careful consideration of the case and taking into account that Mulilo was a first-time offender. “Reference is made to your letter dated 23rd August 2023 in which you appealed against the decision to expel you from the Copperbelt University.
