SOCIALIST Party leader Fred M’membe says late FDD leader Edith Nawakwi is entitled to an official funeral as a former cabinet minister, and therefore it is misleading to say President Hakainde Hichilema has granted her one. On Wednesday, Secretary to the Cabinet Patrick Kangwa announced that President Hichilema had accorded an official funeral to the late FDD leader, who died on Monday, April 7, in South Africa. Kangwa said President Hichilema had also declared today a day of national mourning in honour of the late former Cabinet minister, when she would be laid to rest.
