THE National Assembly of Zambia has expressed concern that the proliferation of social media news outlets has dramatically changed the media landscape, resulting in low levels of investigative journalism, amplified sensationalism and misinformation. Deputy Clerk of the National Assembly for Administration Loveness Mayaka says in recognition of this, the National Assembly has put in place deliberate measures to enable the media to access and accurately report on parliamentary proceedings.
