LUSAKA lawyer Makebi Zulu has claimed that Zambia no longer upholds the rule of law, stating that the country is now governed solely by President Hakainde Hichilema’s will. Zulu has also questioned President Hichilema’s ability to translate his academic knowledge of economics into effective national policy. Furthermore, he has warned the ruling party against assuming victory in the 2026 general elections, citing growing public dissatisfaction and a potentially revitalised opposition.
