THE Committee on Local Government Accounts has heard that Chilubi Town Council embarked on implementing 18 projects costing K7,151,352 without the signed approval by the Ward Development Committee. And the Committee has heard that the local authority also made irregular variations to 15 contracts valued at K6,166,879 without approval. The Committee further heard that the council failed to provide CDF-approved documentation because the minutes went missing.
