ENERGY Minister Makozo Chikote says government has continued to negotiate with fuel suppliers, such that the outstanding debt has reduced from US$735,819,423.26 as of December 31, 2024, to US$521,650,050.82 in 2025. Chikote was responding to a question from Lunte PF member of parliament Mutotwe Kafwaya, who wanted to know the accumulated fuel procurement debt as of July 2021 and June 2024.
