A FORENSIC audit into the alleged theft of drugs has uncovered a case of undeclared conflict of interest at ZAMMSA, involving Sylkay Pharmacy proprietor Kennedy Saini, who joined the ZAMMSA Board in 2023. This particular board was dissolved by Health Minister Elijah Muchima in September last year. The forensic audit, conducted by PwC, found that some employees of Sylkay Pharmacy, located opposite the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) and at Iringa Mall, also worked for ZAMMSA.
