A FORENSIC audit into drug theft has revealed that K290 million worth of short-dated drugs and medical supplies stored at the ZAMMSA central warehouse were moved to an unspecified offsite warehouse for which no supporting documentation was provided. According to the forensic report conducted by PwC, there is a risk that these short-dated items, some of which had not yet expired, were removed from the warehouse and potentially sold.
