THE statement by Zambia Airways that the company is set to take off on 1st December, 2021 with a domestic flight is laughable and annoying. It is laughable because everybody including the board and shareholders of Zambia Airways knows that the company is not ready and this launch will fail because they don’t even have a plane, not to mention passengers to book. But it is annoying because in the face of this reality, some desperate individuals are determined to go ahead and waste more money on a business that is already dead before its launch.
