A 29-YEAR-OLD woman from Lusaka’s SoS compound has dragged her husband to the Matero Local Court, seeking a divorce on the grounds that he married another woman while he was away farming in the village. Margarete Zulu told the court that her 39-year-old husband, Noel Zulu, abandoned her just after she gave birth and went on to marry a second wife, claiming it was an emergency. But in his defence, Noel denied marrying another woman, explaining that he went to the village to farm beans and maize to improve their financial situation.
