CIVIL rights activist Chama Fumba popularly known as Pilato says the defamation of the President charge is not a necessary law in a democratic country as it has potential to instill fear in those who want to question power holders. In a post shared on his Facebook page, Fumba said although he did not agree with PF’s Raphael Nakacinda’s sentiments, charging him with defamation of the President was misplaced. “Arresting Mr Nakacinda for defamation of the President is misplaced.
