HOUSE of Chiefs Chairperson Chief Chisunka says the proposal by Socialist Party leader Fred M’membe to have chiefs in State offices would disrupt peaceful coexistence among various tribes in the country. Last week Friday, M’membe said his party will incorporate chiefs in the governance of the country once it is voted into power. “Even Iran is govern by both religious leaders and the politicians and they have made progress. Despite heavy sanctions, look at what Iran has been able to achieve. I am not saying their system is perfect but it is working for them in some way. Let’s find a system that works for us.
