THE Zambia Statistics Agency (ZAMSTATS) 2023 Child Poverty Report has revealed that 65 percent of children live in households where their basic needs are not met. And United Nations Resident Coordinator Beatrice Mutali says lack of recent official statistics on poverty, inequalities, and access to basic services presents a challenge in analysing Zambia’s real poverty situation.
