THE Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) says it has recovered over K1,493,000 from Stephane Mining Imports and Exports Limited following a conviction by the Economic and Financial Crimes Court in Kitwe. In a statement, Friday, ZRA Senior Corporate Communications Officer Harriet Mwiinga stated that between January 1, 2024 and March 30, 2024, the company made false representations to ZRA by declaring on bills of entry that zinc concentrate was exported from Zambia when in fact zinc ore was exported, thereby defrauding government of K1,493,307.52. “The Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) has recovered over K1,493,000 from Stephane Mining Imports and Exports Limited.
