THE National Assembly has rejected a motion to compel large mining firms to generate their own power. Debating a motion moved by Kamfinsa PF MP Christopher Kang’ombe, Wednesday, Finance Minister Situmbeko Musokotwane said government would lose investments if it compelled mines to generate part of the power they consumed.
