ACTING Energy Minister Felix Mutati says 142 MoUs have been signed by local authorities to execute rural electrification projects funded through CDF. In October 2022, Cabinet directed the Ministers of Finance and National Planning, Energy, and Local Government and Rural Development to provide K1 million from each constituency’s allocation of the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), to be utilised for Rural Electrification initiatives.
