LUKASHYA PF member of parliament George Chisanga says it is a mockery to Zambians for President Hakainde Hichilema to appoint a Technical Committee to draft constitutional amendments. Chisanga says appointing a Technical Committee after Bill 7 was already introduced to Parliament is like “having a child before conception”. President Hichilema has appointed a 25-member Technical Committee tasked with conducting wide-ranging public consultations and drafting amendments to the Constitution of Zambia. The committee is chaired by retired Supreme Court Judge Christopher Mushabati, with Dr Landilani Banda serving as the Vice Chairperson and Spokesperson.
