THE assurance by Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister Mulambo Haimbe that government has an evacuation plan for Zambians in the Middle East is timely and commendable, as the world witnesses the US, Iran war along with their allies. Government is right to think about Zambians in harm’s way in the Gulf. A clear evacuation plan, proper registration, and constant contact through our missions are obligations of a responsible State under the circumstances we are currently witnessing.
