THE Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) incurred a deficit of K38,678,054 for the year ended December 31, 2025, according to the auditor’s report presented at the 2025 Annual General Meeting at Protea Hotel in Ndola, yesterday. Meanwhile, FAZ unveiled an ambitious K216 million budget for the 2026-27 calendar year. The financial statements revealed that the association’s current liabilities exceeded its current assets by K120,542,410, while a net negative liquidity gap of K120,948,153 was also recorded. Further, the expenditure breakdown showed that FAZ spent K45,048,320 on accommodation and meals in 2025, an increase of K11,962,038 from 2024.
