WHAT happened in Chawama last week makes very sad reading. On a day when the country was commemorating the first memorial for late president Edgar Lungu, his constituency, Chawama had something else planned. A group of PF aligned Tonse Alliance cadres stormed a peaceful meeting organised by a UPND candidate Abel Ng’andu. This confrontation resulted in very ugly scenes that our country should never have had to see again. Those Tonse cadres provoked their rivals because they felt Chawama must be a no go area for any other political grouping. This is wrong.
