A SWIMMING teacher Leeroy Phiri has applied to join a case in which a grade six pupil at Nkhwazi Primary School has dragged the institution to the Lusaka High Court for alleged negligence and breach of law following accusations that he demanded a kiss from the minor. Phiri argues that adding him as a second defendant will put an end to any further litigation that may arise if he is not joined to these proceedings. The pupil, suing through her father, is seeking exemplary damages amounting to K1,000,000 and aggravated damages amounting to K1,000,000.
