GOVERNMENT says Zambia Army Commander Lieutenant General Geoffrey Zyeele’s statement on maintaining order during elections actually supports national security and is not a claim of electoral authority. Last week, during a courtesy call on Eastern Province Permanent Secretary Paul Thole in Chipata, General Zyeele said the Defence Force would not allow mischief before, during and after elections.
