THE Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) has called on the Judiciary to issue directions on how applications affected by the recent closure of courts will be treated. And LAZ president Arnold Kaluba says the reopening of the courts does not, by itself, resolve the serious issues arising from the three-day interruption of access to judicial services. On Monday, courts countrywide were closed, with armed police officers sealing off the premises, citing security reasons. The courts were only reopened on Thursday.
