SOUTHERN Province Deputy Permanent Secretary Yolanta Malunga’s contract has been terminated. This follows the firing of Eastern Province deputy permanent secretary Dr Lewis Mwape, whose contract was also terminated last week. In a brief statement issued by provincial Principal Public Relations Officer Wisdom Himanteka, Malunga’s contract termination was with effect from October 13, 2026. “The service contract for Southern Province Deputy Permanent Secretary, Mrs Yolanta Mutyambe Malunga, was terminated with effect from October 13, 2026. Mrs Malunga no longer represents the Republic of Zambia and Southern Province in her capacity as Deputy Permanent Secretary.
