THE Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) has advised consumers to ensure that their sim card details are verified so that they are not inconvenienced as they claim their NAPSA benefits. And the authority has revealed that it has captured over 7 million sim cards in the ongoing live facial capture exercise. Meanwhile, the authority says it could not deactivate sim cards whose details were not fully updated as majority of them were held by social cash transfer beneficiaries in rural areas.
