ENERGY Minister Peter Kapala has confirmed that repair works on the TAZAMA pipeline have been completed and operations have since resumed. And Kapala has revealed that government is contemplating installing fibre optic security on the pipeline. On Tuesday last week, Tazama Pipelines Limited revealed that over 1 million litres of Low Sulphur Gasoil (LSG) had been lost through a spillage after a contractor working on the roads in Tanzania ruptured the pipeline with a grader.
