CENTRE for Trade Policy and Development (CTPD) Executive Director Isaac Mwaipopo says the reopening of Mulungushi Textiles will help strengthen Zambia’s economy. He, however, hopes the announcement will not fall into those political conversations political leaders normally make towards elections. On Sunday, Commerce, Trade and Industry Minister Chipoka Mulenga disclosed that test runs at Mulungushi Textiles would commence on March 22, in readiness for the company’s official launch.
