A 44-year-old man of Lusaka’s Kanyama compound has been dragged to court for allegedly killing his pregnant wife.
In the second count, Boas Mukanzu is alleged to have destroyed the life of his unborn child.
Details before the court are that on November 6, 2017, Mukanzu murdered Rosemary Nyambe.
According to sources, Mukanzu was incensed when he caught his pregnant wife drinking alcohol after staying away from home for two days.
The two engaged in an altercation and Mukanzu allegedly pushed Rosemary and she fell down, sustaining injuries and later died from excessive bleeding through her nose and mouth.
Mukanzu is expected to appear before magistrate Faides Hamaundu for explanation of the charge.
